Kickin' Mozzarella Sticks

Directions

Step 1:

In a shallow dish, beat eggs with fork until well blended, set aside.

Step 2:

Add flour to large freezer bag, set aside.

Step 3:

Add finely crushed Chili Lime Blaze chips into a second large freezer bag. Drizzle with vegetable oil. Toss until the crumbs are well coated.

Step 4:

Add unwrapped string cheese to the bag with flour and shake until completely coated.

Step 5:

Working with 2-3 sticks at a time, remove from the flour mixture, and shake off excess flour.

Step 6:

Add the sticks to the egg mixture and roll around until fully coated.

Step 7:

Transfer the sticks to the crushed chips. Roll and press the sticks in the crushed chips to get them evenly coated.

Step 8:

Repeat coating the cheese sticks a second time in both the egg and crushed chips, ensuring all areas are covered completely.

Step 9:

Move double-coated cheese sticks to a parchment-lined plate or sheet pan. Freeze sticks for at least 30 minutes before cooking.

Step 10:

Preheat your air fryer to 400^° for 5 minutes.

Step 11:

Coat air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the frozen cheese sticks in the basket, giving space between each stick. Depending on the size of air fryer, you may have to cook in batches.

Step 12:

Cook at 400^° for 5-7 minutes, turning halfway through.

Step 13:

Serve immediately with hot honey dipping sauce and enjoy!
